Bengkel Fotografi 28 June 2008

Andrea aka Edina Monsoon has left a comment in my blog this morning urging me to update my blog..It has been 2 days without any entry because i was damn too tired to post one. Is it sign of aging??? Works at the hospital are abundant and being in cardiology added up my agony.. ha ha..opsss plus i was the active registrar on call on last Thursday and being called almost all the time by my junior colleagues for consultation..nah..not a complaint..but just to illustrate the busy life of being a doctor and a senior in that heirrachy is a BIG responsibility and you just have to understand them if you happen to marry one of them.

Today, i spent my day attending the photography workshop made possible by our HUKM art and photography club. Shah was also there and the Beruang Madu, not to forget. It started as early as 9 am where Shah rang me up earlier just to make sure i was out of my comfort bed (takut kes tidur mati !)..ha ha. The workshop was concentrating on potrait shots, lightings and the use of Adobe Photoshop CS2 to manipulate the small defects and to beautify our pictures taken. We were divided into few small groups. My group consisted of the three of us plus Mahmud, a photography enthusiasist as well.

Our workshop were led by the renowned photographer , En. Abbas (the blue shirt man) who used to photograph VIP's and our HUKM photographer, En. Idris. The tips were amazingly delivered and according to them to obtain a good image..a good photgrapher has to understand the subject attitude and gesture. Mmmmmm...

The lighting was essential part of awesome studio photography . They taught us how to play with lightings, what are the soft lights and hard lights and where to put white or black reflector. wow... now i am talking about serious photography.. ha ha.

We modelled ourselves , be the photographer ourselves and be the stylist ourselves...mmm .. all in one. In the above picture, you could see how eager these participants in creating in good photo images.

This was Beruang Madu at the studio entrance in HUKM..I snapped him with the wordings on a card hanged in waiting room. I liked the words .... did it go along with the man on that orange t-shirt ?? mmm ... what do u think??? Definitely....

I 'll post up pictures taken, on my next entry...

For me.. looking at a nice pic, it's part of a stress reliever activity. nak plak gambar2 yang berseni (eventho am not that artistic)

p/s: Potret/wajah punyai seribu satu persoalan, probably by looking at it..with sincerity.. akan merungkai seribu satu jawapan :)(hmm.. just an opinion)
