MITIGATION PHASE OF H1N1 OUTBREAK !!

Apa tu ??

Mitigasi adalah fasa kita membendung komplikasi kerana H1N1 is everywhere in our community.

Clinical assessment tool for moderate to severe influenza:

Patients with ILI and any of the following parameters should be considered for admission to the of nearest designated hospital :
Respiratory impairment: any of the following
Tachypnoea, respiratory rate > 24/min
Inability to complete sentence in one breath
Use of accessory muscles of respiration, supraclavicular recession
Oxygen saturation < 92% on pulse oximetry
Decreased effort tolerance since onset of ILI
Respiratory exhaustion
Chest pains
Evidence of clinical dehydration or clinical shock
Systolic BP < 90mmHg and/or diastolic BP < 60mmHg
Capillary refill time > 2 seconds, reduced skin turgor
Altered Conscious level (esp. in extremes of age)
New confusion, striking agitation or seizures
Other clinical concerns:
Rapidly progressive (esp. high fever > 3 days) or serious atypical illness
Severe & persistent vomiting

here we have extra precaution if the person have a flu..mmg x bagi datang kerja..adoii

they are still doing the thermal screening in our airport..perhaps precaution is better than cure :)

Precaution is definitely better than cure...but there are lots of resource and manpower needed for the prevention but since H1N1 already in our community...we try to prevent complications now

catz sgt risau dgn H1N1 now ni..
and now i am a frequent flyer..
lagiklah..
so wut catz doing now is...nak jejak kaki ke airport pakai mask (ada yg kata tak de kesan..)...tapi at least i berjaga2..coz dlm flight /kat airport kita tak tau org sebelah2 kita tah baru fly dr mana2 ke..etc..
some airport buat saringan, some airport buat tak kisah je....maybe negara kita bleh dikatakan terkawal?
kadg dlm flight/sebelum fly di beri borang akuan kesihatan..tapi sampai airport takde sapa kutip pun??takde sapa yg tunggu pun?
so i guess..some airport take this thing seriously..and some not..
cuma nak tanya lah doc..
adakah pakai mask itu emmbantu sebenarnya?

partikel molekul virus H1N1 ni besar jadi pemakain mask amat penting ..juga etika batuk yg baik... waaahhh selalu berjalan..ada sponsor ker? sponsor i sekali..ha ha

Faisal : boleh sudah semestinya...he he

edina : if it is about an info, and about medical... i like to write it in Bahasa..my blog is supposed to be bilingual too..

Wahidah : that is the KKM policy... we have to do it because lack of resources and Tamiflu dah.
