Experimenting On The Starbuck Cup

Experimenting on the Starbuck Cup !!! Yeah.. sometimes you don't really need spectacular objects to capture beautiful pictures. You just need the right ANGLE, FRAME and EXPOSURE !! That was what i concluded after a photography discussion with a fellow friend who has magical touch and superb pictures in his photography work on last weekend ..


We hung out in this Pavillion Starbucks and started experimenting on the cups..ha ha

These 2 pics below looked very similar but again they are different with just a single switch in the setting. Can you guess ??

Thanks to my dear friend for advice and tips and for your precious time ..appreaciate that ! . At least for my next trip to Cambodia Siam Reap, i would manage to take better images.

Scalene Muscle For A Paul Smith Ad... Errrr !!!

To work and to learn technique about photography especially for advertisement from a photographer's friend is a wonderful privillege for me to upgrade myself in term of knowledge towards better skills in potrait photography. I did more than 200 photos for this one but it turned out THIS is the photographer's choice..mmm hampeh !!..ha ...ha ... only my scalene muscle modelled for this shot.. This is the raw image , no photoshop and wording yet and he decided to put this up as one of his work resume and photo sample. I love the Paul Smith perfume very much in deed... and Story of course !...It is very complex to understand what a real photographer see in every shots he took and it depends solely on what he wanted to potray..

This picture was taken to promote my Nikon camera and my Apple Ipod...i Love gadgets...life isn't merrier without gadgets in my hands. Great experience to start my own click click for ads and potrait photography. Thanks for the "tunjuk ajar"....Anyone keen to be my MODEL ??

The "Monyet" Happy Family .... Sweet... Too Sweet

Gambar sekeluarga monyet ni aku rakamkan ketika berada di Langkawi baru baru ni... Semasa time bosan ketika tiada aturcara..time free...aku pun duduk sebentar melihat gelagat monyet monyet ni yang menghiburkan....bila dinilai akrab sungguh keluarga monyet ni..

Ni..... si bapa monyet tengah seolah-olah mengajar anak lelakinya cara betul makan buah-buahan tu... comel sangat tengok gelagat mereka dari jauh...

Si ibu dan anak perempuan yang sedikit pemalu cuba melarikan diri bila menyedari kehadiran pemerhati seperti aku... Laju betul mereke menderu.. Aku suka gambar ni...si bapa tu tak takut pun.... macam I don't care !!! he he. Masih lagi mengajar anaknya makan dengan betul.

Lepas dah kenyang..mereka pun beransur pulang... Bila aku tafsirkan kembali...bahagia juga hidup mereka sebagai sebuah keluarga walaupun mereka hanya MONYET ! Nilai mereka tinggi dalam semangat kekeluargaan... Terkesima sekejap aku..Kagum !!!

My Old Nikon Coolpix....Not That Bad

I have never imagined that this pictures came out from my old Nikon Coolpix 7.1 megapixels compact camera.I bought it when i entered the master programme to snap good clinical findings and the nice x-rays and imaging modalities . Since i owned my Nikon DSLR... i left this compact camera aside. Well, if this inhuman things could speak, my old Nikon could have cursed me and felt really jealous with my DLSR..ha ha..just like the Malay proverb says..habis madu sepah dibuang . This pictures were taken today and the flowers were actually the decor at our table from the tiny restaurant located at my condo.





I sat there with Ali, Anuar, and Asri (my good 3 A's colleague). We promised to play squash today but i joined them late coz i need to attend to few emergency cardiology cases .. ya .. it is my work.. i enjoy it anyway. It was a good cardio exercise for them.. ha ha especially to Asri.. opss.. i did not play today because i planned to go straight to the gym after Maghrib prayers..

While chit chatting and having a drink each, i snapped this by using my Nikon Coolpix S8. With the nice amazing photos from Asri, and other bloggers using a compact camera in their entry like Wahdi and Saharil Conteng as my inspiration..i think compact camera not that really BAD. Never Judge something by its size and capabilities....sometimes it can do more than you've expected....mmmmmmm...I think it applies to real life and real people as well..

Hujung minggu ni sibuk sikit ler.. ajakan member click click...Shah, Hamdi dan BM ke Putrajaya pun tak dapat pergi walaupun kalau boleh nak berade kat dua tempat sekaligus..ha ha...tak sempat nak update blog ...sori mori ..ehh cakap Jepun pulak sebab banyak dengar speech Japanese cardiologist dekat conference. Meanwhile...layan aje la..gambar gambar ni yang di ambil dari tepi padang waktu game bole dulu.

Ni lah tangga yang menghubungkan HUKM dengan Padang bola sepak tu... nampak cantik pulak dari jauh...so snap...

Picture ni sebenarnya nak tunjukkan over-exposed sometimes not that really bad (he he..menutup kelemahan diri...ha ha)..gambar ni over-exposed tetapi sesekali over-exposed best jugak......

Menarik...terliur sekejap tengok paparan Canon EOS 450D yang affordable yet very useful.. tapi aku ..ha hah... still pencinta Nikon... aim aku nak beli Nikon D30 atau D300 suatu hari nanti...mungkin bila dah kerja private kot....lama lagi tu..

Part 1 buku ini lebih kepada introduction... penerangan lebih kepada kamera dan fungsi bagi jenama Nikon.. Hah ...Catz asyik cakap dia tak tahu guna kamera dia ajer...tetapi gambar dia ambil semakin menawan..Catz...i think you should read this booklet.. Nak tahu apa kandungan booklet ini...Need to know basic first..

Ni cara cara choosing and using lenses... menarik.. Lepas tu choosing accessories dan juga panduan cam ner hold kamera yang betul dan secara pro... Booklet ini basik jerrrr. tapi bagi aku yang baru belajar ni.... ooooo best lar

Doctors ....Action On and Off The Field

I have already post the results from that game. Finally i just knew that B Braun took the trophy after defeating surgery team. This entry is more about photography of some of the doctors who i managed to capture the gesture during that day. They looked fantastic !! I was hoping to see a glimpse of our Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor came down that day but there was no sign of his appearance. Did he totally forget HUKM ?? Mmmm

Does it look like an album cover ??? Che Rosli and Anuar look very promising but Asri spoilt the pictures by squeezing his nose...mmmm..

Mmmmm how do i interprete Anuar's feeling rite now??

Congrats to him who had just passed his viva to become full consultant rheumatologist... and thanks for the treat too... we owed you a lot.. you are the man behind good rapport between us in the department and you brought the good team spirit.

Dzulhelmy aka DZ..was in my badge when we graduated in 2001. He joined the emergency department . He is in HKL now for rotation and it has been a while since i last met him... so we chit-chatted and did some gossips .. ha ha..

Mr Imtiaz... surgeon in HUKM... showed his fatherly side on the field ..holding his daughter's hand... see who said doctors don't have ample time for their family..

Zaimi.. our captain for that day.. Will he join HUKM as nephrology trainee ??? Mmmm..

Kapten Dr. Ali from the military department who is in his 3rd year now..... A good friend indeed.

Professor Roslan..my respiratory consultant is a kind-hearted man and he has the energy to play football in his 40's ..and even fitter than some of us... ha ha.

Hafiz.....eating again ???? He did his endocrine attachment when i was in that posting a year ago..

The orthopaedic colleagues did not make it even to semi final.....ha ha.. Akmal Hadi aka Pak Cik and his colleague walking out from the field with frustation...the pic was a bit over-exposed..

Hamdi ....our official photographer for that day... he managed to come down to take good pictures even he was supposed to be oncall that day...but anyway..the field is just next to HUKM..he was not being called at all.
